"This little gem of a consignment shop is situated in an affluent area of town (Newtown). This helps with the class or style of clothes that are for sale at this shop. The clothes are very up-to-date, well maintained and there are lots of designer name fashions for exceptional prices! There are some beautiful accessories, which are typically new. They range from pearl-laden scarves to rhinestone-studded reading glasses and gads of other beautiful jewelry, bags, hair adornments, etc. The entire shop is in a small cape cod style home with all rooms dedicated to the clothes and accessories (along with convenient working plumbing). The ambiance is that of the Victorian style era...very romantic and poetic seeming...very feminine. "The Fashion Exchange is an upscale consignment shop selling women's fashions, shoes, handbags, hats, & jewelry. I love being able to get name brands here at such terrific prices. The clothes are beautifully maintained and I've gotten a few perfect evening gowns here at incredible discounts. One caveat: be happy with what you purchase or let them know right away, returns at a consignment shop are not like returns at a regular retail store.
